Access Control Systems
Access control systems are electronic systems that facilitate automatic approval for authorized employee to enter a secure passage point without the need for a security guard to review and verify the individual’s authorization. Typically, the system defines an individual’s identity and permissions. A secure passage point can be a door or gateway that creates a passage point at a security boundary. Common secure passage points include standard doors, turnstiles, revolving doors, and vehicle entry barriers.
